Embark on an awe-inspiring journey through some of the world's most incredible landscapes, while enjoying world-class service, regionally-inspired cuisine, and rich stories from our onboard Hosts, all from the comfort of our spacious, glass-dome coaches.

Award-Winning Luxury Train Journeys

From the moment you set foot onboard, our Hosts will go above and beyond to make your journey as comfortable as it is unforgettable.

Glass-Dome Coaches

Our custom-designed coaches provide you with panoramic views – or get a bit closer by stepping into the outdoor viewing area.

Locally-Inspired Cuisine

Dine on delicious, regionally-inspired cuisine that features local ingredients and flavours.

World-Class Hospitality

From refilling your wine glass to sharing stories and helping out with special requests, our Hosts are dedicated to making your onboard experience as memorable as the scenery outside.

All Daylight Train

See the sights by day, sleep in a hotel at night. With Rocky Mountaineer, you get the best of both worlds: maximum views, and maximum comfort. No sleeper cars here: stay in beautiful hotels at each destination.

Sustainable Tourism

Sustainable Tourism

Rocky Mountaineer’s commitment to sustainability focuses on protecting the areas we travel through, using resources wisely as we operate our business, and supporting our local communities. We partner with and support organizations that protect nature and wildlife, honour local culture, and inspire action to deliver meaningful impact in our communities.

Environmental impact

For many years, we have focused on decreasing our impact on the environment. While onboard, guests dine on reusable tableware, which is washed and disinfected on the train. In 2019, we added 10 new GoldLeaf rail cars to our fleet, which have a number of energy efficient enhancements, including dishwashers that use 20% less water than previous models. In addition, we plant a tree with Tree Canada to honour the employment anniversary of each team member.

Corporate giving

Rocky Mountaineer is proud to support numerous charitable events, causes and fundraising activities each year as part of our corporate giving efforts.

Rocky Mountaineer provides complimentary rail journeys to non-profit organizations to support their fundraising efforts. All requests can be made by completing our donation request form. Due to the large number of submissions we receive, we are unable to respond to all requests. Should we be able to provide a donation to support your fundraising, we will confirm within 30 working days. Thank you in advance for completing the request form.

Modern Slavery

Rocky Mountaineer condemns all forms of modern slavery, including but not limited to forced labour, child labour, sexual exploitation, and human trafficking. We do not tolerate modern slavery within our business or our supply chain. We work to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and corporate responsibility across all aspects of our business. These efforts extend to combating modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. We recognize the importance of respecting human rights and ensuring fair labour practices within our operations and throughout our supply chain.
